On 3 October, Fotografiska opens Harder Better Faster Stronger – Are Men OK?, a major group exhibition bringing together 30 artists from around the world to explore one of the most urgent questions of identity today: what does it mean to be a man now?
In this Artist Panel Talk, participating artists Jakob Ganslmeier & Ana Zibelnik, Sara Sadik, Brian Cliff Olguin and Johan Bävman come together for a conversation about masculinity in its many forms. Their works move between digital self-optimization and online culture, gaming worlds and emotional self-reflection, brotherhood and belonging, fatherhood, care and presence.
Together, the artists open up a wider conversation about the ideals that shape men today — and what happens when those ideals are questioned, stretched or refused. Join us for an hour of thought-provoking perspectives, artistic insight and conversation inside the exhibition’s opening day.
