During the weekend of 22–23 August, Fotografiska Stockholm presents the digital pop-up Sweden Interprets Parr, featuring a selection of photographs by course participants shown in dialogue with Martin Parr’s exhibition Short & Sweet.
On Saturday 22 August at 2 PM, photographer, photography teacher and Fotografiska’s lead guide Karim Ajaj invites visitors to a short presentation about this summer’s digital photography course Sweden Interprets Parr.
Throughout the course, participants have been inspired by Martin Parr’s way of capturing the absurdities, humour and human details of everyday life. In connection with the weekend pop-up, Karim shares insights into the process behind the course – from the first photo challenges to the participants’ own interpretations of Sweden in the spirit of Parr.
