About Nashan
Acclaimed for her experimental pop, Linnéa Martinsson – performing as Lune – unveils a new side of her artistry with Nashan, released through Supertraditional this autumn.
Created during her parental leave, the album was shaped by time spent at her family's cabin in Medelpad, where motherhood, loss and reflections on family heritage inspired a new musical direction. Combining analogue synthesizers, accordion and percussion instruments crafted from found materials in the surrounding forest, Lune creates a richly textured sound world rooted in nature and place.
Blending newly written alt-folk songs, nature-inspired instrumentals and a reinterpretation of an iconic 1980s hit, Nashanis both intimate and adventurous. With Lune's gentle vocals floating above sparse arrangements, the result is a beautifully cohesive album that is understated, elegant and deeply evocative.
