Kevin Abosch is one of the early pioneers of AI-based image-making. His practice spans photography, film, installation, and machine learning, and since the early 1990s he has worked with computer vision and artificial intelligence as artistic tools—long before these technologies gained broader traction in contemporary culture. His work explores questions of identity, value, and what an image is or does in a time when more and more images are synthetically produced.

Don’t miss this rare opportunity to meet the artist and gain firsthand insight into his pioneering practice. Join the conversation, ask questions, and experience a body of work that continues to shape how we understand images in the age of AI.

About the exhibition

A photographer fooled an entire world with fabricated images, an artist invites us to interact with an AI agent trained on her own life, childhood, and heartbreak—and in another project, new, uncanny ecosystems are created as archives and algorithms mutate into new species. In The Machine’s Eye in Human Hands at Fotografiska Stockholm, eight artists come together, each diving deeply into AI in contemporary image-making in entirely different ways.
