About Martin Parr

Martin Parr was one of the most influential and internationally recognised photographers of our time, passing away in December 2025. With a distinctive visual language and sharp humour, Parr highlighted the absurdities of everyday life and our collective behaviours around consumption, leisure and identity.

During the summer, Fotografiska presents the exhibition Short and Sweet, which brings together over 50 years of Parr’s vivid and compelling imagery. The exhibition was created in collaboration with Martin Parr and Magnum Photos and runs from May 22 to September 27.
