Overview

Welcome to Pilates at Fotografiska, where emotional visual projections, movement, and presence come together. Pilates instructor Mikaela Hållén guides you through an intuitive workout, in interaction with visual projections that enhance emotion and bodily awareness.

The sessions are held in collaboration with Withings.

Strength, stability, and the female body in focus

A session that highlights women’s health through the different phases of life, with a focus on the body’s cycles, change, and intuition.

The session begins with a conversation between Mikaela and Johanna Hector, author and coach in health and personal development, who shares insights on a longer, stronger, and more meaningful life. This is followed by a workout focusing on strength and stability, where we work with a balance/Pilates ball. We activate the core, the deep stabilizing muscles, and also include pelvic floor exercises. A holistic session that combines strength, control, and presence – strengthening the body from the inside out.

Mikaela Hållén is a trained Pilates instructor, licensed personal trainer, nutrition advisor, and founder of the training platform SLICE. Through short, smart sessions, she makes it easy to take care of your body in the midst of everyday life and build sustainable routines.

About the artist

Elin Fiorentino is a Swedish new media and installation artist whose practice centers on video, animation, and sound. With a background in film and audiovisual production, she creates works that explore the relationship between the human inner psychological landscape and its external manifestations.
