Film screening: Elliott Erwitt - Silence Sounds Good
14 Feb | A quiet, intimate portrait of Elliott Erwitt – introduced in person by director Adriana Lopez Sanfeliu.
Overview
Welcome to a special film screening presented in connection with the exhibition Through the Playful Eyes of Elliott Erwitt.
Elliott Erwitt, Silence Sounds Good is a personal and poetic portrait of one of the twentieth century’s most iconic photographers.
The 62-minute film will be introduced by director Adriana Lopez Sanfeliu. This afternoon offers a deeper insight into Elliott Erwitt’s life, work, and relationships—and into the quiet spaces that surround his images.
Through memories, and reflections, the film approaches Erwitt via his personal space, the margins of his photographs, and the silence within dialogue itself. These conversations become open spaces of shared intimacy, where themes, images, questions, and memories move like dance steps—sometimes in harmony, sometimes in dissonance—leaving room for answers as well as new questions.
An afternoon for anyone interested in photography, storytelling, and the human presence behind the camera.
