Sigma Artist Talk: Anders Petersen
1 Feb | Sigma invites to a series of Artist talks during the exhibition period for 15 Fotografiska Years, this afternoon with photographer Anders Petersen.
Overview
Sigma invites you to an afternoon with photographer Anders Petersen. An icon in Swedish photography, known for his intense and intimate portrayals of people and environments. The conversation will be moderated by designer and curator Greger Ulf Nilson.
Anders Petersen's gaze is the one seen through the camera lens. He meets his fellow human beings with an atmosphere of permissive curiosity and manages to capture the moment in a millisecond. A moment that confirms to us that we are connected, that there are bonds between us humans that we may not be able to explain scientifically. But which we all sense, and recognize when someone manages to capture this connection in a photograph.
