Welcome to an artist talk with the exhibiting photographer Tobias Regell, where we will delve into an artistic practice spanning decades. The conversation will be led by Marina Kereklidou, who has also curated the exhibition Du såg mig mig med orädda ögon, a comprehensive retrospective of Tobias Regell’s work.
– For over thirty years, I have followed people with the camera as a mirror, searching for that meeting within the image—the moment when someone dares to be themselves. Musicians, dancers, actors, people in motion and at rest. You Saw Me with Fearless Eyes is a tribute to presence, to the trust in truly being seen, and to the moments when a person reveals their innermost self, says Tobias Regell.
In connection with the exhibition, Regell is releasing the book Du såg mig med orädda ögon, which will be available for signing after the artist talk.
